PERSONAL STATEMENT


I have authored over 70 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters in the field ofSport, Exercise and Performance Psychology and worked as a consultant for college and amateur athletes. I have received numerous research fellowships and awards, including a Fulbright Doctoral Fellowship and the American Psychological Association Dissertation Award (Division 47 – Society for Sport, Exercise & Performance Psychology). My work on expert performance has been funded by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), supportedbyCirqueduSoleil,andfeaturedindistinguishedmediaoutletsincludingNature Lindau, BBC Latin America, and ScientificAmerican.
